Pakistan are set to face West Indies in the second and final Test beginning on Sunday at Port of Spain, to put the disappointment of the opening Test behind them and come out strongly. The series forming part of the ICC World Test Championship has put Pakistan in big trouble as they look to avoid a series defeat and finish on a positive note.

The first Test was a massive loss for Pakistan, who were outplayed by 90 runs after struggling to perform in both batting and bowling departments. The defeat gave a disappointing start to Babar Azam's second spell as Test captain. Pakistan have also suffered another setback with experienced batter Shan Masood being ruled out due to injury. His absence is a big blow after he had performed vigorously in the first match. In the first Test, the biggest worry for Pakistan was their wobbly batting as they constantly struggled to cope with the high-quality attack from West Indies.

For them it will be important to come back with spirited effort if they look to draw the series. Their bowlers, as well, meanwhile, will be looking for greater consistency to assert the dominance. West Indies, on the other hand, are high on confidence after delivering a splendid all-round performance in the opening match. Their bowlers and batters remained in rich form to put Pakistan on the back foot. Now they will aim to seal a clean 2-0 series victory.
