Sri Lanka Cricket offers free entry for India Test series
Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced free public entry to selected grass-embankment areas for the upcoming two-Test series against India. The initiative will apply at both venues hosting the series. At the Galle International Cricket Stadium, spectators will be able to enter through Gate 4, while in Colombo, free access at the Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) will be available through Gates 3, 4, 5 and 7. The first Test is scheduled to take place in Galle from August 15 to 19, before the teams move to Colombo for the second match from August 23 to 27.
Both Tests are part of the ICC World Test Championship. Notably, the board has previously made selected areas available to fans at no cost during Test series involving teams such as New Zealand, Ireland, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
