Pakistan have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka after securing a convincing 82-run victory in the second match. The two teams will meet again in the third T20I in Rawalpindi, where Pakistan will look to complete a series whitewash, while Sri Lanka will aim to finish the series with a win. In the previous match, Maaz Sadaqat played a brilliant innings of 96 runs off 51 balls, while captain Sahibzada Farhan scored 73 off just 44 deliveries. Their outstanding performances helped Pakistan post 215/3. In reply, Sri Lanka struggled to keep up with the required run rate and finished at 133/7. Mohammad Imran was the standout bowler for Pakistan, taking three wickets.

The Rawalpindi pitch has been good for batting, as Pakistan's top order has demonstrated in the first two matches. A similar surface is expected for the final T20I. Fast bowlers may find some assistance, while spinners could get grip and turn. Slower deliveries and cutters may also prove effective. With dew likely to play a role, chasing could be the preferred option.
