A truly amazing batting show displayed by Stokes in the third ODI against New Zealand at The Oval would have given alarming calls to the teams gearing to participate in the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023. Ben Stokes'batting prowess was on full display as he scored (182) runs to be the highest individual scorer for England in ODIs. It's been a phenomenal performance from England's Test skipper since his return to ODIs after revoking his ODI retirement decision to play New Zealand series and the upcoming ODI World Cup. Stokes shattered the previous record for the highest individual score set by Jason Roy by scoring (180) against Australia in 2018. Ben Stokes' 182-run included (15) boundaries and (9) sixes. Overall, the highest individual score in ODI has been scored by Indian skipper Rohit Sharma as he scored (264) against Sri Lanka in 2014.
