In the 27th match of the ongoing Big Bash League, Adelaide Strikers will be locking horns with the Perth Scorchers on Friday at Adelaide Oval, Adelaide. Lackluster Adelaide Strikers have got to do well to stand a bit of chance to move into the positive direction. Strikers are hosting this match as they would hope to get some home advantage.

They are sitting on the bottom of the points table with four losses in a row. They have only won one match from their past six games, losing four with one ending in no result. Their bowling has been their long-standing issue with their bowlers not being up to the mark. In their batting, they’ve done fairly well with Chris Lynn and Matt Short scoring hugely. Meanwhile, both teams met each other in the 25th match of the tournament where Perth Scorchers took the upper hand.

Perth Scorchers, on the other hand, have been undefeated in the tournament with four wins from their five games. Their one game ended in no result. They are on the second position with 9 points and the positive NRR of +1.870. They have maintained the winning streak so far from their past four wins. Going into this game, they would look to repeat the same. Scorchers have registered their wins in their past games very comfortably.

Perth Scorchers Probable XI: Zak Crawley, Sam Whiteman, Aaron Hardie (c), Josh Inglis (wk), Laurie Evans, Cooper Connolly, Ashton Agar, Jhye Richardson, Andrew Tye, Jason Behrendorff, Lance Morris

Adelaide Strikers Probable XI: Matthew Short (c), D Arcy Short, Chris Lynn, Adam Hose, Thomas Kelly, Jamie Overton, James Bazley, Harry Nielsen (wk), Henry Thornton, David Payne, Cameron Boyce
