In the 39th game of the ongoing Big Bash League, Perth Scorchers will be hosting Sydney Sixers on Tuesday at Perth Stadium, Perth. Perth Scorchers have run a massively successful campaign with their six victories out of nine games. They have been unbeaten at home as they would again eye an encouraging win. They have lost two games with one of their games ending in no result. They are having 13 points along with the positive NRR of +0.837.

Sydney Sixers, on the other hand, are having five victories from their nine games, losing two while two ending in no result. They are carrying 12 points along with the positive NRR of +0.356. Sixers are coming off a win from their last game against Thunder where they beat them by 19 runs. Perth Scorchers, on the other side, beat table toppers Brisbane Heat in their last game. Both have made it to the playoffs, but a win here would embolden them further to boost their chances for title win.
