West Indies Women showcased their prowess and dominance as they completed the series whitewash against Pakistan, beating the host by 88 runs in the third ODI, and sealing the series with a 3-0 victory.

Deciding to bat, West Indies skipper Hayley Matthews, who has been in spellbinding form, smashed her century (141), following it up with her unbeaten (140) in the first ODI, to guide the team post a huge total of 278/6 in 50. Hayley Matthews scored her fifth ODI century.

Pakistan bowlers remained superbly expensive, struggling to find wickets, with West Indies batters remaining unabated in their assault. Though, Nashra Sandhu and Fatima Sana claimed three and two wickets respectively.

In reply, Pakistan women could put up 190 after being bowled out in 47.5 overs, with Muneeba Ali and Aliya Riaz scoring 38 and 36 respectively. Fatima Sana and Tuba Hassan scored 23 each, but to no avail. West Indies’ all-round bowling show paid fruitful results. Hayley Matthews, Stafanie Taylor and Aaliyah Alleyne took two wickets each. West Indies will take pride in their collective achievements as they are now scheduled to play five-match T20I series against Pakistan, starting 26th April.
