Zak Crawley ruled out as England declare squad for Sri Lanka Tests

In a massive setback to their batting order, England opener Zak Crawley has been ruled out of England’s upcoming three-match Test series against Sri Lanka beginning 21st August. Zak Crawley was revealed to nursing an injury to his right little finger which he picked up during the third and final Test match against West Indies. 

England revealed their 14-player squad for the Lanka Tests, but Crawley will be missing in action. Meanwhile, Jordon Cox and Olly Stone have returned to the team. Along with Zac Crawley, Dillon Pennington, who was part of England’s squad for the three-match Test series against West Indies, will be missing Lanka series due to a hamstring injury.
