Ireland name squad for white-ball series against England Women

Ireland Women’s team is set to embark on a challenging white-ball series against England Women early next month, with the selectors unveiling the squads for three ODIs and as many T20Is. 

Gaby Lewis will lead Ireland in the absence of permanent skipper Laura Delany after recovering from a quad strain she suffered during Ireland’s first ODI against Sri Lanka earlier this month. Alice Tector has been handed her maiden T20I call-up, having made her ODI debut against Sri Lanka.

Meanwhile, regular skipper Laura Delany is still recuperating from the ligament injury she picked up on her ankle during the 2nd T20I against Sri Lanka.
