England Women are touring Ireland to play a three-match ODI and a three-match T20I series, beginning September 7. England Women will kick off the series with ODIs, taking on Ireland in the first game on Saturday at Civil Service Cricket Club, Belfast. The matches are part of the ICC Women’s Championship.

Ireland enter this series on the back of a historic series victory against Sri Lanka women last month. Ireland cliched the three-match series 2-1. Gaby Lewis will be leading Ireland in the absence of regular skipper Laura Delany

England Women come into this series with a strong track record and a team brimming with talent. With key players like Tammy Beaumont, Kate Cross and Lauren Filer, England have a potent mix of experienced campaigners and rising stars. This series offers them a chance to refine their strategies and do better. Kate Cross will be leading England. 

On the other hand, Ireland Women will view this series as a golden opportunity to make a statement and continue their winning run. Ireland’s significant progress will keep them confident in the ODIs against England.
