Zimbabwe and Afghanistan are set to face each other in the second T20I match of their three-match series on Friday at Harare Sports Club, Harare. This follows a gripping first match where Zimbabwe emerged victorious, taking a 1-0 lead in the series. As Afghanistan look to bounce back, the stakes are high in this T20I contest.

Zimbabwe's win in the first match has placed them in a strong position to clinch the series. Their performance in the opener dominated Afghanistan in all departments. The team will aim to maintain their momentum, with one more win guaranteeing them the series victory, but Afghanistan will be determined to keep their hopes alive with a win in the second T20I.

Afghanistan, however, showed a lot of promise in the first game but found it challenging to get over the line in high-pressure contest. Their key players, including experienced all-rounders, will need to step up in this must-win game to keep the series competitive.
