England name squad for One-Off Zimbabwe Test

England have named their squad for the upcoming one-off Test against Zimbabwe, scheduled to be played later this month. Skipper Ben Stokes is set to lead the side after recovering from a left hamstring tear injury. In the 13-member squad, Sam Cook has earned a maiden England call-up alongside Jordan Cox. Both of them join the side as uncapped players in Test cricket.
Cook has been incorporated into the side on the back of consistent performances on the county circuit. Meanwhile, Stokes last featured for England during the three-match Test series against New Zealand in December last year. Nottinghamshire pacer Josh Tongue would also hope to play his first Test in two years after last featuring for England during the 2023 Ashes
