New Zealand have unveiled their squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against England, set to begin on October 26 at Bay Oval, Tauranga. The highlight of the announcement is the return of veteran batter Kane Williamson, who is set to make his comeback to international cricket following a brief medical absence. Nathan Smith has also been included in New Zealand's 14-member squad.

New Zealand, who missed the ongoing T20I series against England due to a minor medical issue, has now been deemed fit to rejoin the national side. Smith has also regained full fitness after an abdominal injury picked up during the second Test against Zimbabwe in August. Mitchell Santner will continue to lead the side.

Meanwhile, Finn Allen (foot), Lockie Ferguson (hamstring), Adam Milne (ankle), Will O'Rourke (back), Glenn Phillips (groin), and Ben Sears (hamstring) were all unavailable due to injury. Williamson, who is currently on a casual playing contract with NZC, continues to be an important figure in New Zealand’s white-ball setup.

New Zealand ODI squad: Mitchell Santner (c), Michael Bracewell, Mark Chapman, Devon Conway, Jacob Duffy, Zak Foulkes, Matt Henry, Kyle Jamieson, Tom Latham (wk), Daryl Mitchell, Rachin Ravindra, Nathan Smith, Kane Williamson, Will Young
