T20 World Cup, 2026: All you need to know about Super 8 games

T20 World Cup Super 8 matches have been confirmed, with Pakistan powering their way into the Super 8 stage with a commanding victory over Namibia on Wednesday, becoming the final side to confirm qualification for the next phase of the tournament. Facing Namibia in a must-win encounter, Pakistan delivered a splendid performance to cap off a hard-fought group stage campaign.
The Super Eights of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup will have high-voltage games right from the outset. Pakistan are scheduled to face New Zealand in the opening fixture of the phase in Colombo on Saturday. Meanwhile, defending champions India, who moved into the Super Eight unbeaten, will take on South Africa on Sunday in Ahmedabad.
The eight qualified teams have been divided into two groups:

Each team will play the other three sides in their respective group once, with only the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals.
