Since being eliminated from the ongoing T20I World Cup in India, several teams have had to face unexpected travel complications due to disruptions in regional air travel following the ongoing military tensions in West Asia. However, in good news, special charter flights have been arranged to ensure that players and support staff can return home safely, according to ESPNcricinfo.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has made arrangements for England, South Africa, and West Indies teams, all of whom were eliminated from the tournament before the final. England will leave India on Saturday evening following their semi-final defeat against India on Thursday.

They are scheduled to depart from Mumbai. The team will travel directly to London via a charter flight arranged specifically to avoid the affected commercial air routes. Meanwhile, West Indies and South Africa squads will depart from Kolkata on a separate charter service.

Both teams have remained in the city since their respective eliminations from the tournament and are expected to leave on Sunday. However, details have not been shared. Talking about the ongoing World Cup, India and New Zealand are set to face each other in the final on Sunday in Ahmedabad.
