IPL 2026: Revved-up DC collide with explosive SRH

Delhi Capitals are ready to take on Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Tuesday in match 31 of the Indian Premier League. Both sides have experienced fluctuating fortunes this season; however, they will head into this clash on the back of victories in their previous outings. Hyderabad's inability to maintain consistency has been on full display. However, one of the brightest sparks has been Abhishek Sharma, who has been in defining form, recently smacking a breathtaking half-century off 15 deliveries.
Meanwhile, Travis Head continues to play with attacking intent but is still searching for consistency. Captain Ishan Kishan began the season confidently but has since struggled to maintain that momentum. The backbone of Hyderabad’s batting, however, has been Heinrich Klaasen, scoring 283 runs in six matches, including three half-centuries. In their bowling, SRH have been bolstered by young talent Sakib Hussain and Praful Hinge. The spin pair of Shivang Kumar and Harsh Dubey has also brought balance to the attack.
For Delhi, their victory in the last match against RCB must have injected massive confidence in the side. David Miller delivered under pressure, finishing a tense chase. At the top, KL Rahul has been dependable, while Pathum Nissanka has shown promise with powerful starts. Sameer Rizvi, who impressed earlier in the tournament, has experienced a dip in form. But Tristan Stubbs has been a key figure, leading DC's assault with the bat.
