Royal Challengers Bengaluru put on a tremendously powerful bowling performance, tearing through Delhi Capitals in a one-sided IPL 2026 clash in Delhi on Monday to clinch an amazing nine-wicket win. Asked to bat first, Delhi Capitals endured a nightmare from the very start. Their innings was demolished by a ruthless bowling carnage unleashed by Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar ripping through the batting lineup with incredible spells.

The duo shared seven wickets between them, putting DC in complete chaos. The damage was most severe during the powerplay, where Delhi limped to a record-low 13/6, which was the worst start ever seen in IPL history. The likes of KL Rahul, Tristan Stubbs and Axar Patel were dismissed for 1, 5 and 0, respectively. Abishek Porel stood out with a fighting 30 that helped Delhi avoid registering one of the lowest totals in IPL history. However, they were bowled out for 75 in 16.3 overs.

Chasing the target, RCB got a good start with Jacob Bethell scoring 20 at the top. After his departure, Devdutt Padikkal and Virat Kohli guided the side home in 6.3 overs, scoring an unbeaten 34 and 23 respectively.
