Punjab look to reclaim belief on Hyderabad's turf

Sunrisers Hyderabad are preparing to host Punjab Kings at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Wednesday in a highly competitive clash. The Kings currently sit at the top of the points table with 13 points, but that position is not completely secure. Just a step behind them are Sunrisers Hyderabad with 12 points, breathing down their necks and looking to snatch the top spot.
For weeks, these two sides have dominated the tournament; however, as they head into this match, they are under huge pressure. Sunrisers Hyderabad head back home with a sense of urgency. They kicked off their campaign in a commanding fashion with five wins on the bounce. However, they suddenly hit a roadblock when they were outplayed by Kolkata Knight Riders. Now, back on home turf, they will look to rediscover their intensity to pin down PBKS.
On the other hand, Punjab Kings are dealing with a rare dip in form that has disrupted their smooth campaign. Their impressive unbeaten stretch had made them a formidable contender, but consecutive losses against Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans have made this match a must-win clash.
