Netherlands, who are set to make their Women's T20 World Cup debut, have named a tremendously strong squad for the upcoming mega event, set to be held in England and Wales June 12 to July 5. Babette de Leede will lead the squad that features a whole lot of star performers.

"We are super excited for our first ever appearance in the ICC T20 World Cup. It will be a great opportunity to compete with the best teams in the world, and to show the talent that we have in the Netherlands on the big stage. We hope to make the Dutch cricket community proud and to inspire young girls in the Netherlands," captain Babette de Leede said.

"Because the T20 World Cup is played close to our home, in England, we expect a big orange crowd and a lot of support. It will be an experience of a lifetime, not just for us as a team, but also for our families, friends, and everyone who has Dutch women's cricket at heart."

Netherlands secured their place in the Women's T20 World Cup following powerful performances at the qualifiers in Nepal in January-February earlier this year.
