India women to host Zimbabwe for historic first-ever bilateral series

India and Zimbabwe women are set to face each other in a bilateral series for the very first time. Zimbabwe women will tour India in October for a six-match white-ball series, featuring three T20Is and three ODIs. The tour is historic for Zimbabwe women, as it will be their maiden cricket tour to India. Interestingly, India Women are yet to travel to Zimbabwe for a bilateral assignment.
The action-packed series will begin with the T20I leg in Raipur. The three matches are scheduled to take place on October 16, 18, and 20, respectively. Following T20Is, the teams will head to Baroda for the ODI series, with matches scheduled for October 23, 25, and 28, respectively.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also revealed two important home assignments for the India A women’s team later this year. India A Women are scheduled to host Australia A in September and England A in December. Both tours will include three T20 matches, three List A games, and one multi-day game each. The men's Australia A side, along with the Australia Under-19 men's side, is also set to tour India in September and October.
