Sri Lanka unveil squad for Pakistan ODIs

Sri Lanka have unveiled a 15-member squad for their upcoming three-match ODI series against Pakistan women, with experienced all-rounder Chamari Athapaththu set to lead the side. Sri Lanka return to action following a rather successful campaign at the Women's T20 World Cup 2026 where they narrowly missed out on a place in the semi-finals.
They ended the tournament in third place in Group B, finishing level on points with the West Indies but falling short due to an inferior net run rate. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka have recalled wicketkeeper Anushka Sanjeewani and uncapped seamer Rashmika Sewwandi.
The three-match ODI series will be played at the Hambantota International Cricket Stadium, with matches scheduled for July 23, July 25 and July 28, respectively. The series is a part of the ICC Women's Championship 2025-2029 cycle.
