India bring in Harsh Dubey as replacement for Washington Sundar ahead of 3rd ODI

India had made a change to their squad for the remainder of the ODI series against England, drafting promising left-arm spin-bowling all-rounder Harsh Dubey as a replacement for Washington Sundar, who sustained a hamstring injury in the second ODI in Cardiff. The injury ruled Sundar out of the series.
“Washington sustained a right hamstring injury during the second ODI at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff, and has been ruled out of the remainder of the series. He will undergo scans and seek a specialist opinion for further management of his injury,” BCCI said in a statement.
Dubey, meanwhile, received his India cap in the recent home series against Afghanistan, where he took 3-47 on his ODI debut in Dharamsala in the first ODI.
