ZIM vs IND, 3rd T20I: India eye series whitewash as Zimbabwe seek consolation win

India and Zimbabwe are preparing to lock horns in the third and final T20I, scheduled to take place on Sunday at the Harare Sports Club. India have already wrapped up the series with powerful victories in the opening two matches, and they would hope to complete a clean sweep. Zimbabwe, on the other hand, will be aiming for a turnaround to salvage pride. Talking about India, they have looked incredibly flawless in all departments, with their batters and bowlers stepping up in different situations.
Majorly, for captain Shreyas Iyer, the series has been a big success. Leading India to an unassailable 2-0 lead has earned him his maiden T20I series victory as skipper. Before this, India endured six defeats in a row, copping back-to-back series losses against Ireland and England. Now, players like Ishan Kishan and Tilak Varma have been in outstanding touch, bolstering the batting attack. Both were instrumental in India's win in the second game. Young Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has also made good use of the opportunity.
India's bowling attack has been highly impressive, with Mayank Yadav, Yash Thakur, and Ravi Bishnoi playing their huge roles. As for Zimbabwe, the final match is a chance to restore pride after a disappointing series, with the 3rd game being one final opportunity to put together a complete performance with both bat and ball and finish the series on a positive note.
