England have announced their squads for the upcoming white-ball series against Sri Lanka, with two uncapped players receiving their first international call-ups. England have rewarded strong domestic performances by handing Derbyshire batter Aneurin Donald his first England call-up for the T20Is. Sussex fast bowler Henry Crocombe has also earned his maiden selection, with the pacer included in the ODI squad. Donald has enjoyed an impressive campaign with the bat. During this summer's Vitality Blast, he scored 489 runs from 12 appearances and registered four half-centuries.

Meanwhile, Jamie Overton is among the players named in both the T20 and ODI groups. The all-rounder missed England's recent assignments against India because of injury but has now returned to action across both white-ball formats.

Sam Curran and Phil Salt were unavailable for the series due to their respective injuries. Meanwhile, Brydon Carse has been left out of both England squads. He is currently under investigation by the Cricket Regulator following an incident outside a Derby nightclub in August. He was also excluded from England's recent Test squads for the series against Pakistan.

England T20I squad: Harry Brook (c), Jofra Archer, Gus Atkinson, Sonny Baker, Tom Banton, Jos Buttler, James Coles, Jordan Cox, Liam Dawson, Aneurin Donald, Ben Duckett, Will Jacks, Saqib Mahmood, Jamie Overton, Adil Rashid, Josh Tongue

England ODI squad: Harry Brook (c), Rehan Ahmed, Jofra Archer, Gus Atkinson, Tom Banton, Sonny Baker, Jos Buttler, Jordan Cox, Henry Crocombe, Liam Dawson, Ben Duckett, Will Jacks, Jamie Overton, Adil Rashid, Joe Root, Josh Tongue
