Ishan Kishan slammed powerful knocks in the 2026 Duleep Trophy final, showing a great batting display and breaking records in Indian domestic cricket. Kishan, who is representing East Zone against South Zone at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, scored 350 runs across the two innings to set a new record for the most runs scored by a batter in a single Duleep Trophy match.

In the first innings, Kishan compiled a mammoth 270 from 344 deliveries, helping his side reach 708. South Zone, on the other hand, struggled to gather runs as they were folded for 336. And in the second innings, Kishan brought up 80 runs from 98 balls. With 350 runs, Kishan sits at the top of the Duleep Trophy's all-time list for most runs by a batter in one match.

He broke the previous record of 320 runs, registered by Raman Lamba while playing for North Zone against West Zone in Bhilai in October 1987. Kishan also became the first player in the tournament’s history to reach the 350-run mark in a single match.
