South Africa pacer Ottneil Baartman ruled out of Australia ODIs

South Africa have suffered another blow ahead of their ODI series against Australia, with fast bowler Ottneil Baartman ruled out after picking up a left hamstring injury. South Africa have called up all-rounder Duan Jansen as his replacement. Jansen was earlier part of South Africa's second-string squad currently competing in Namibia, but his performances and availability have opened the door for a return to the senior setup.
The Proteas are already without a key fast bowler, Kagiso Rabada, who has also been ruled out of the ODI series because of a hamstring issue. Jansen will now link up with the main squad as South Africa prepare for the ODI series against Australia, starting on September 24.
South Africa ODI squad: Temba Bavuma (c), Matthew Breetzke, Aiden Markram, Quinton de Kock, Tony de Zorzi, David Miller, Ryan Rickelton, Tristan Stubbs, Duan Jansen, Gerald Coetzee, Bjorn Fortuin, Kwena Maphaka, Lungi Ngidi, Corbin Bosch, Marco Jansen, and Keshav Maharaj
