Zimbabwe name squad for Australia ODIs, Sikandar Raza to lead

Zimbabwe have revealed their squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia, with Sikandar Raza set to lead the side. Raza takes over the ODI captaincy from Richard Ngarava, who is currently recovering from a lower-back injury.

Veteran batter Brendan Taylor has been handed a recall for his first ODIs in a year. Graeme Cremer also returns to the side for the first time since last playing an ODI back in 2018. The squad also features experienced players Blessing Muzarabani, Brad Evans, Ryan Burl and Wellington Masakadza. The first ODI is scheduled to be played on Tuesday at Harare Sports ⁠Club.

Zimbabwe squad: Sikandar Raza (c), Ben Curran, Blessing Muzarabani, Brad Evans, Brendan Taylor, Brian Bennett, Craig ⁠Ervine, Ernest Masuku, Graeme Cremer, Innocent Kaia, Newman Nyamhuri, Ryan Burl, Tadiwanashe Marumani, Wellington Masakadza, and Wessly Madhevere.
