South Africa have shifted their focus to the upcoming two-Test series against Bangladesh after sealing a 2-1 series victory over Australia with a 176-run win in the Newlands Test.

Australia's batting collapse in the final innings attracted attention, as they lost their last eight wickets for just 62 runs while chasing 288. Kagiso Rabada and Simon Harmer, who claimed 6/16, played key roles in South Africa's emphatic victory.

However, head coach Shukri Conrad has urged his team to move forward and maintain their momentum. The first Test against Bangladesh begins on November 15 at the Wanderers, followed by the second Test in Centurion from November 23.

Conrad warned against underestimating Bangladesh, pointing to their recent nine-wicket victory over Australia in Darwin. He also highlighted the advantage Bangladesh could gain from having former South African assistant coach Malibongwe Maketa in their coaching setup.

South Africa have also made changes to their squad, dropping David Bedingham and Kyle Verreynne. Tony de Zorzi and Zubayr Hamza have been recalled, while Ryan Rickelton's century against Australia has strengthened his position in the wicketkeeping role.

With South Africa leading the WTC standings, the Proteas will look to carry their winning form into the Bangladesh series as they continue their title defence.
