"There was a guy called Rishabh Pant”: Rohit Sharma

Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has disappointed England a lot in the ongoing five-match Test series with his incredible batting. He has led an unblemished demolition of England, racking up 655 runs in the last four games at an average of 93.57 and a strike rate of 78.63. Jasiwal’s unbeaten 214-run knock in the third Test gave glimpses into his batting abilities.

Throughout the series, Jaiswal has looked unfazed facing England’s top-quality bowling attack, using the conditions very well to put England to misery. He has hammered consecutive double hundreds in the series while playing the aggressive brand of cricket, even not sparing England veteran James Anderson, against whom he has played attacking cricket.

Following Jaiswal’s heroics, England batter Ben Duckett had claimed that Jaiswal’s mastery at playing attacking cricket was influenced by “bazball” crusade.

"When you see players from the opposition playing like that, it almost feels like we should take some credit that they're playing differently than how other people play Test cricket," Ben Duckett had said.

However, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma had a rather light-hearted response with the reference to Rishabh Pant’s style of play.

"There was a guy called Rishabh Pant in our team, probably Ben Duckett hasn't seen him play," Rohit Sharma said.

India and England will come against each other in the fifth Test match that will be played from 7th March in Dharamshala. India have already taken an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five-match series.
