UAE, Pakistan and Afghanistan set to play T20I tri-series ahead of Asia Cup 2025

The United Arab Emirates are set to host Pakistan and Afghanistan in a T20I Tri-Series beginning on August 29 in Sharjah. All seven matches of the series will be held at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah. The series will precede the Asia Cup 2025, serving as a crucial platform for all three teams to fine-tune their preparations for the mega event.
During the series, all teams will square off against each other twice, with the top two teams qualifying for the final, which will be played on September 7. The opening encounter of the series will have a blockbuster clash between Pakistan and Afghanistan on August 29. Meanwhile, hosts UAE will take on Pakistan in the second encounter on August 30.
