Their efforts helped Bangladesh post a total of 166, but the team struggled to build substantial partnerships against Australia's disciplined bowling attack. Phoebe Litchfield Leads Australia's Chase. In reply, Australia Women made a strong start to their chase, reaching 150/2 in 23.3 overs. Phoebe Litchfield played a brilliant innings, scoring 77 runs off just 57 balls at an impressive strike rate of 135.09.
Her aggressive batting put Australia in a commanding position. The second-wicket partnership between Litchfield and Ellyse Perry added 50 runs off 34 balls, with Litchfield contributing 39 runs and Perry scoring five during that stand. Annabel Sutherland also made a valuable contribution with 25 runs, helping Australia maintain control of the chase.
