SA20 Final: Sunrisers Eastern Cape eye hat-trick of titles as MI Cape Town hope to claim maiden trophy

The anticipation is hugely palpable as the double-defending champions Sunrisers Eastern Cape prepare to face off against MI Cape Town in the final of the SA20 on Saturday at The Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg. Sunrisers,entering as the defending champions, will aim to secure their third SA20 title in a row, while MI will be determined to claim their maiden SA20 championship.
Sunrisers didn’t have a great time during group stages. However, they bounced with full force winning the Eliminator and Qualifier 2 to march into the final of the tournament for the third time in a row. They will aim for a hat-trick of titles as they look to their bowlers in Craig Overton, Ottneil Baartman, Richard Gleeson for good performances.
MI Cape Town have demonstrated remarkable improvement this season. Keeping up with a successful start, MI remained a dominant force during group stages and managed to secure a spot in the final. They will hope to put an end to Sunrisers’ title-winning streak and eye their maiden title under the leadership of Rashid Khan.
