New Zealand have made a late change to their ODI squad for the ongoing series against England, bringing in fast bowler Blair Tickner to replace Kyle Jamieson, who has been ruled out due to a side strain.

Jamieson suffered discomfort during training and was subsequently withdrawn from the squad. Tickner last featured for New Zealand in 2023 and has played 13 ODIs, having 16 wickets.

"Blair's an experienced campaigner and no stranger to international cricket. He bowls a heavy ball from a decent height with plenty of energy and aggression. In that respect he can fill a similar role to what Kyle would normally perform," New Zealand head coach Rob Walter said.

New Zealand are currently leading the series 1-0 after beating England in the first game despite Harry Brook playing a scintillating knock of 135 off 101.
