NZ vs WI, 3rd ODI: New Zealand complete series whitewash with four-wicket win over West Indies

New Zealand capped off a dominant ODI series with a comprehensive four-wicket victory over the West Indies in the third and final ODI at Seddon Park on Saturday. The win completed a clean 3–0 sweep for the hosts, who outplayed the visitors in all departments throughout the series. Chasing a modest target of 162, New Zealand reached 162/6 in 30.3 overs.
The chase was anchored by Mark Chapman, whose fiery 64 provided stability after early wickets, and Michael Bracewell, who contributed a valuable 40 unbeaten, steering the side through a tricky middle phase. Both Chapman and Bracewell forged a 75-run partnership off 48 balls to lead the recovery. New Zealand openers Devon Conway (11 off 17) and Rachin Ravindra (14 off 22) lost their wickets early, leaving New Zealand in a big mess. Even Will Young at No 3 managed 3 runs off 11 balls. However, Chapman and Bracewell's contributions took the side over the line comfortably.
Earlier, West Indies, opting to bat, faltered against a disciplined New Zealand attack. They were bundled out for 161 in 36.2 overs, with John Campbell and Roston Chase emerging as the top scorers with their knocks of 26 and 38 respectively.
From New Zealand, Matt Henry delivered a powerful performance with the ball, taking four wickets. Jacob Duffy and Mitchell Santner took two wickets each.
