Brisbane Heat Women will take on Sydney Sixers Women in the 26th match of the ongoing Women's Big Bash League on Friday at Adelaide Oval. The Heat are still pursuing their first win of the season, having suffered defeats in their last six games. They are coming off a last-ball loss against the Adelaide Strikers in their previous game.

So far, it's been tough luck for them with six defeats on the bounce. Languishing at the bottom in the points table, Heat would finally hope to do something extraordinary to secure their first win in the tournament.

Sydney Sixers Women, on the other hand, are in a relatively good position with three wins in five games. Riding high on the back of an 11-run win against the Hobart Hurricanes in their last game, Sixers have momentum heading into this game.
