In the Eliminator of the Women’s Premier League 2026, Delhi Capitals Women delivered a commanding performance to outclass Gujarat Giants Women by seven wickets in the Eliminator on Tuesday at the BCA Stadium in Vadodara.

Chasing a target of 169, Delhi Capitals reached the target in 15.4 overs, finishing on 169/3 to storm into their fourth consecutive WPL final appearance. Lizelle Lee scoring 43 off 24 and Shafali Verma smoking 31 off 21 provided a blistering opening partnership of 89 runs to lay the foundation for DC's victory.

Jemimah Rodrigues, leading the Capitals this season, led the charge in the middle, blasting 41 runs under pressure, steering her side home comfortably. Earlier, Delhi Capitals, deciding to bowl, restricted Gujarat Giants to 168/7, despite a fighting half-century from Australia’s Beth Mooney, who scored 62 unbeaten to take the Giants to a respectable total.

It is worth noting that since the inception of the WPL, the Delhi Capitals Women have been one of the most consistent sides in the league, with four consecutive final appearances (2023, 2024, 2025, and now 2026). Delhi Capitals Women will now prepare for the WPL 2026 Final, where they will face Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women on February 5.
