Mayank Agarwal stable after scary health emergency

Karnataka skipper Mayank Agarwal, who went through excruciating times after being admitted to a hospital in Agartala on Tuesday following a medical emergency, is said to be stable. 

Agarwal had developed a medical emergency on flight while being en route to Surat after he consumed liquid from a bottle that he believed contained drinking water. Upon consuming the liquid, Agarwal developed irritation in his mouth and throat, leaving him with swelling on his lips. Agarwal also started throwing up following which he was admitted to hospital. 

“I am feeling better now. Gearing to comeback. Thank you for prayers, love and support, everyone!”, Mayank wrote on Instagram.

As per reports, Mayank Agarwal is set to miss Karnataka team’s next Ranji match against Railways that will be played from February 2nd to 5th. Meanwhile, It is believed that Agarwal will be available for the team’s match against Tamil Nadu to be played from 9 to 13th February.
