BPL 2023: Khulna Tigers to go against Sylhet Strikers

Khulna Tigers will be crossing the swords with Sylhet Strikers in the 25th match of the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) on Friday at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium. Sylhet Strikers’ struggle to lift themselves in the points table continues as they struggle at the bottom position from second in the points table with two victories from their eight games. They have suffered six defeats as they carry four points along with the negative NRR of -1.265.
However, they will take comfort after having registered their victory in their last outing against Durdanto Dhaka. They had their five-wicket win in that game. Sylhet Strikers have promising players in the form of Harry Tector, Najmul Hossain Shanto and Benny Howell.
Khulna Tigers, on the other hand, are on the fourth position in the points table with four victories from their six matches. They have lost two games with eight points and the positive NRR of +0.535 in their tally.
Tigers played their last game against Comilla Victorians that they lost by 34 runs, bringing huge disappointment to their smooth campaign. Their players like Evin Lewis, Anamul Haque and Afif Hossain will be expected to help the side in their success.
