In the fifth match of the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League, Durbar Rajshahi will be taking on Dhaka Capitals on Thursday at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka. Both sides are eying their first victory of the tournament after starting their campaign on a negative note in their opening matches. Durbar Rajshahi, in their opening game, which was also the first match of the tournament, took on Fortune Barishal but lost the game by four wickets.

Heading into their second game, they will look to seal their first victory of the tournament. Despite recording powerful performances from Anamul Haque and Yasir Ali scoring (65) and (94) respectively, Rajshahi failed to match the performance of Fortune Barishal.

Dhaka Capitals, on the other hand, lost to Rangpur Riders by 40 runs in their first match of the tournament. They would also eye a major performance from their players to secure their first win of the tournament. Capitals would need their players such as Tanzid Hasan, Litton Das and Stephen Eskinazi to step up their attack to help the side win the game.

Durbar Rajshahi Probable XI: Anamul Haque (c&wk), Mohammad Haris, Jishan Alam, Akbar Ali, Yasir Ali, SM Meherob, Ryan Burl, Lahiru Samarakoon, Mrittunjoy Chowdhury, Hasan Murad, Taskin Ahmed

Dhaka Capitals Probable XI: Stephen Eskinazi, Tanzid Hasan, Habibur Rahman Sohan, Litton Das (wk), Thisara Perera (c), Amir Hamza, Farmanullah Safi, Mustafizur Rahman, Mukidul Islam, Nazmul Islam, Alauddin Babu
