Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 schedule announced

The schedule for the Women's T20 World Cup 2026 has been released, with the tournament set to run from June 12 to July 5, 2026. The event, which will be hosted across several iconic venues in England and Wales, will see 12 teams competing in the blockbuster event. The tournament opens in Edgbaston, Birmingham, on June 12, with hosts England taking on Sri Lanka.
Twelve teams having secured their places through qualification and world rankings, have been placed in two strong groups:
Group 1: Australia, South Africa, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Netherlands
Group 2: West Indies, England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Scotland
The highly anticipated India vs Pakistan showdown will be held on June 14 in Edgbaston. Bangladesh will commence their campaign on June 14 against Netherlands at Edgbaston. Notably, Netherlands are set to make their tournament debut. Meanwhile, the final is scheduled for July 5 at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London.
