IND-W vs AUS-W 3rd T20I: India gear up for an intense battle against Australia

The series has been nothing sort of a riveting display of cricketing prowess from both India Women and Australia Women in the past two matches. Both teams are gearing up to face each other in the third and final T20I match, scheduled to be held on Tuesday at DY Patil Sports Academy. The first match saw India Women set the tone with a commanding performance as they beat Australia by (9) wickets to lead the series 1-0.
Chasing the modest total of (141), India got over the line in (17.4) overs by scoring (145) for the loss of one wicket. The Australian bowlers faced a daunting challenge as the Indian batters Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma scored (54) and (64*) respectively to show their grit and determination.
Bouncing back strongly, Australia Women came out victorious in the second T20I by beating India Women by six wickets. Opting to bowl, Australia restricted India for the paltry of 130/8 in (20) as they unleashed a fierce bowling display. The Indian batters found it challenging to contain the onslaught. Chasing the total, Australia displayed a collective brilliance to win the game in (19) overs after losing four wickets. The third match is set to witness an intense battle between both teams in their bid to win the trophy.
