The One-Off Test match between Afghanistan and New Zealand was significantly impacted by unfavourable conditions, leading to the second day's play being called off due to unplayable conditions on Tuesday in Greater Noida .

On the scheduled second day, the toss was moved up to an earlier time in hopes of finding a window to start the day's play. But, at 8:55 am, it was decided that there would be an inspection at 12pm. Due to the moisture and wet conditions, proceedings couldn’t start at noon as well.

Meanwhile, the ground-staff did a great job, using electric fans to dry the wet patches, however it was all to no avail. Despite these efforts, the outfield remained too wet and unplayable, preventing the proceedings from taking place on day two as well. As a result, the play on second day was called off.
