In a stunning conclusion to the three-match Test series, Pakistan secured a commanding nine-wicket victory over England in the third and final Test in Rawalpindi on Saturday, clinching the series 2-1. Downcast England failed to set a substantial target after being rolled out for 112, setting only a 36-run target for Pakistan, which the hosts achieved in four overs.

Earlier, England won the toss and opted to bat first, a decision that initially seemed promising. However, their innings faltered as they managed to post only (267) runs. Pakistani spinners executed their plans effectively, keeping England batters under pressure. The standout performers for Pakistan were Sajid Khan and Noman Ali, who both tore through England's formidable batting lineup.

In reply, Pakistan were helped by Saud Shakeel, who scored (134) to guide the side to (344) in their first innings. Noman Ali and Sajid Khan backed Shakeel’s innings with their scores of (45) and (48*) respectively. Facing a substantial deficit, England returned to bat but struggled significantly against Pakistan’s disciplined bowling attack. They managed to muster only (112) runs in their second innings. This poor performance set a meager target of just (36) runs for Pakistan to chase. This was England's lowest ever total in Pakistan.
