Sophie Devine, Amelia Kerr return for Australia T20Is

New Zealand Women’s cricket team has announced their squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Australia Women. Suzie Bates will be leading the side. While, Izzy Gaze misses out due to an injury. She has been replaced by Polly Inglis. The series will also see the return of star all-rounder Sophie Devine.
Devine, who had taken a break from cricket, is making her comeback to the national team after being ruled out of the Super Smash, the Women's Premier League in India and New Zealand's home series against Sri Lanka.
"It's nice to have had some time to reset and refocus and I'm really looking forward to getting back out there with the girls," Sophie Devine said.
Allrounder Amelia Kerr also returns to the side after missing the Sri Lanka series due to her involvement at the Women’s Premier League 2025.
"We're stoked to have Soph, Melie and Lea back for this series. They're three key players who bring a wealth of experience and leadership to the group,” New Zealand head coach Ben Sawyer said.
The first T20I will be played on March 21 at Eden Park, Auckland.
