Cricket Australia has unveiled the schedule for BBL 15, running from December 14, 2025, to January 25, 2026, with Perth Scorchers and Sydney Sixers clashing in the opener. The blockbuster season opener will be played at Perth Stadium on December 14. The defending champions, Hobart Hurricanes, will kick off their title defence against Sydney Thunder on December 16. A total of 44 games will be played in the tournament, including knockouts and the final.

This clear, uninterrupted schedule is aligned with the 2025–26 Ashes series, which concludes early in January. Notably, this leaves a rare two-week window where Australia’s big Test names are expected to play in the BBL.
